I am Nifty...or you can stick to my initials, which are GC; hence, the logo. I am a self-taught programmer. My goal with the Nifty Little Me blog is to document my journey and share what I have learned with anyone who would listen. I'm learning a lot from posting frequently while discovering oceans of knowledge.

I live for the pursuit of endless learning and discovery. There's nothing more fulfilling to me. And even though continuing down this road requires the starting sacrifice of profitless effort and time, I need to believe that the sole flame burning inside me is worth keeping it lit.

Why? Well, I am looking for that rare burst of joy and transcendence that happens only when I feel so free and confident that running towards who-knows-where turns into flying over the grounds I once walked on.
